Welder Evening Shift
Job Description
Waste Connections of Canada has an immediate opening for a Welder to join our team in Kingston, ON to refurbish and repair Front end and Roll off containers. We are looking for a skilled trade's person that likes a variety of tasks and can take direction to learn new skills. The ideal candidate can fabricate and weld using mig, Tig and Arc in most positions. Working with a team of truck mechanics assisting them from time to time with light repairs and or rebuilds of compactors and other equipment.
Location: 1150 Gardiners Road Kingston, ON
Pay rate: $26.74/hr.
Shift: Monday - Friday 3pm - 12:30am
Requirements:
- Safety minded individual
- Must be able to lift 50 LBS
- Able to work independently
- Able to run an overhead crane is an asset
- Takes pride in doing a great job
- Able to weld MIG, ARC, and TIG
- Able to fabricate
- Able to weld up hand
- Fork lift operator certified is an asset
- Work well with others in a fast passed shop environment
- Painting of bins is a requirement
- Able to work over time when needed
