Welder/Fabricator
to join our growing Canadian team. With 40 years of manufacturing excellence in quick closures in the United States, we are expanding our operations to serve the Canadian market.
The successful candidate will work in a climate-controlled facility with day shifts Monday - Friday (7:00 AM -3:30PM).

Expected Hours:
40 hours per week
Essential Job Functions
Weld and fabricate high-quality quick closure products in accordance with applicable welding procedures and specifications as outlined on work order drawings
Utilize a variety of welding equipment and processes including GMAW (MIG), GTAW (TIG), and SMAW (Stick) welding
Perform fitting, assembly, and fabrication of final closure components to engineering specifications
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work order specifications
Operate material handling equipment including forklifts and overhead cranes
Maintain a clean, organized work environment
Other duties as assigned by supervision
Qualifications and Requirements
Essential Requirements:
Minimum 4 years of welding and fabrication experience in a manufacturing environment
Valid Alberta Journeyperson Welder certification or equivalent interprovincial certification (BPW required)
Must successfully pass 3G GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding) weld test
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols
Experience with fitting and assembly of fabricated components
Valid Alberta driver's license
General ISO-9001 awareness and understanding of production-related requirements
Strong commitment to safety, quality, attendance, and productivity standards
Forklift and overhead crane operator certification
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and work for extended periods during 8 hour shifts
Regular lifting, carrying, and positioning of materials up to 23 kg
Frequent bending, stretching, kneeling, and working in various positions
Manual dexterity for precision welding and assembly work
Ability to work in confined spaces when required
Tolerance for working around welding fumes, noise, and varying temperatures
