Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Tasks
---------Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment Fit, braze and torch-straighten metal Determine weldability of materials Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment
Support for newcomers and refugees
--------------------------------------Offers mentorship programs that pair newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees
Support for youths
----------------------Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth
Support for Indigenous people
---------------------------------Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers Work Term: Permanent Work Language: English * Hours: 35 hours per week
