Responsibilities
- Weld and fit steel components to meet specifications
- Lay out, position, align and fit steel components together
- Read shop drawings and welding diagrams
- Inspect finished part and conduct rework (grinding, re-weld) as necessary
- Follow quality control procedures
- Practice and follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe workplace
- Other duties as required

Qualifications
- MIG welding in a production environment or recent welding program graduate
- Prior experience welding steel or recent graduate
- Capable of reading blueprints and shop drawings
- Capable of lifting up to 50lbs and handling large parts by hand and with crane
- Overhead crane experience an asset
- Prior experience work in a busy manufacturing environment
- Team player, willingness to learn, positive attitude
