Location: Blackfalds, Alberta

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: Pay is commensurate with experience

Schedule: Day shift, Monday to Friday, Overtime as needed

About the Role:

We are currently seeking a Welder to join our team in Blackfalds, AB. This role involves a mix of production welding, custom fabrication, and repair work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. If you're a skilled welder who enjoys variety, precision, and teamwork, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform MIG, and ARC welding on various metal components. Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings. Fabricate custom prototypes, jigs, and fixtures. Operate welding and metal shaping equipment (brakes, shears, flame-cutting tools, etc.). Collaborate with supervisors and team leads to meet production goals. Conduct repairs, retrofits, and refurbishments on returned products.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license. Minimum 5 years of experience welding Journeyman Certification (considered an asset). CWB certification (considered an asset). Proficient in GMAW and SMAW. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.

Work Environment:

Indoor and outdoor work, including construction sites. May require lifting up to 50 lbs. Use of PPE (e.g., steel-toed boots, safety glasses) is mandatory. Overtime and 24/7 availability may be required.

Experience:

MIG welding: 5 years (preferred)
