A Welder Apprentice assists experienced welders in various tasks, gaining hands-on experience and developing skills in welding techniques. This role involves a combination of fieldwork, technical training, and adherence to safety protocols.


RESPONSIBILITES

What You'll Be Doing:

Adheres to workplace safety policies, regulations, and compliance. Communicates any unsafe conditions or accidents/injuries in a timely manner to the supervisor to facilitate prompt correction or reporting. Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality, seamless customer service. Components in cutting and grinding structural steel.

QUALIFICATIONS

What You'll Need For Success:

Must be in a registered Canadian apprentice program. Follow Badger's best practices with a focus on Best Operator, Best Truck. 2-3 years of related experience. Proficient in SMAW, GMAW welding in all positions. Metal Core is a plus
