Are you an Apprentice Welder looking to advance your skills? SMS Equipment is seeking a

Welder, Apprentice 2

nd

Year

working toward their Journeyperson certification. In this role, you'll support repairs and fabrications across a wide range of equipment and work hands-on with industry-leading machines alongside a team that knows quality matters.

Base Wage

: $36.62 - $39.23 per hour. Additional premiums apply.

Location:

Kamloops, BC

Shift Rotation:

7x7

What You'll Do

Performing repairs and fabrications on various makes and models of equipment. Working from layouts, blueprints, and work orders. Customizing mobile equipment or components based on customer needs. Supporting failure analysis and welding repair strategies alongside the Service Manager. Delivering safe, effective welding services in a fast-paced environment.

What You Bring

The successful candidate will be in their

2nd year apprenticeship

to become a

Welder.

Other requirements include:


Strong commitment to safety Experience in repair/maintenance of heavy equipment Strong written and verbal communication Some positions may require the ability to travel and meet customer site requirements Experience with Komatsu equipment is considered an asset
