Richmond International Education (RIE) provides students from around the world the opportunity to achieve their educational goals at schools throughout our district. The Educational environment offered by the district provides international students at both our elementary and secondary schools with the knowledge, tools and skills to succeed in life. In addition to offering superior English Language Learning support, our schools offer a wide range of courses and program options.
The Richmond District is currently seeking a long term TTOC to teach the
"Welcome to English"
program with RIE. The Welcome to English program teaches English to our elementary international students' parents/guardians. This program helps facilitate their ability to communicate within the school community and to also foster relationships with each other for support and connections. Applicants must be certified by the Ministry of Education with professional training in English Language Learning (ELL).

Schedule:
Every Thursday and Friday mornings
No classes on:
October 24, November 28, and during Winter Break (December 22, 2025 to January 2, 2026.
