Job Description

We are a currently looking for a Site Superintendent/Concierge to join the team at a high-rise Condo building on Echo Dr. The employer for this position is a Condominium Corporation that is managed by Apollo Property Management. The successful candidate is a team oriented, organized, self-motivated individual who is able to multi-task and has excellent communication skills.




Hours Required:



Saturday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM



Sunday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM




Amongst other duties this position will be responsible for the following responsibilities:




• Reports to the Site Superintendent
• Performs cleaning duties, minor interior and exterior repairs, regular building inspections, oversees the proper functioning of equipment
• Responds to owner/ resident requests/complaints in a courteous, friendly, prompt and professional manner
• Parcel delivery and grocery assistance to owners when required
• Meets outside contractors (in Site Supers absence) when working on site, ensures scope of work is being completed, reviews and reports to the Site Superintendent
• Maintains and checks building logs (Pool and Rec Centre)
• Maintains suitable inventory of building maintenance and cleaning supplies
• Promotes and maintains site safety and security
• Performs any other duties as directed by the Site Superintendent




Qualifications and Experience:




• High School Diploma
• Minimum 3 - 5 years related experience in a maintenance or superintendent role correcting and resolving various problems related to water, lighting, HVAC and other systems
• Microsoft Office skills
• Experience working onsite in a supervisor role
• Knowledge of construction execution, supervision and best practices
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Willingness to take initiative, work in a team environment and possess a strong work ethic
• Excellent customer service and a good understanding of onsite safety measures
• Ability to lift, push and pull heavy objects (up to 50lbs for cleaning and maintenance purposes)
