Overview

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, engaging with customers, and ensuring a positive experience for all patrons. Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred, along with familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS. The position offers an opportunity to develop skills in food handling, cash handling, and hospitality operations in a lively environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner to enhance their experience Operate POS systems for order processing and payments Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area according to food safety standards Ensure responsible serving by monitoring guest alcohol consumption and adhering to legal requirements Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashing out customers at the end of shifts Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during busy hours Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to uphold health standards Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional hospitality services

Skills

Proven experience in food industry or restaurant environment preferred Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests Familiarity with POS systems or similar platforms Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and tallying orders accurately Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures Ability to serve alcohol responsibly while adhering to legal age requirements Effective communication skills and a friendly demeanor Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting
This position is ideal for individuals passionate about hospitality who enjoy creating memorable experiences for guests. Prior experience in serving or bartending is advantageous, but training will be provided for the right candidate.
