Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various environments, ensuring that all spaces are hygienic and presentable. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning tasks and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.

Duties

Hours: Weekends, 9:30 PM - 1:30 AM (4 hours per shift) Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming in commercial settings. Conduct thorough janitorial duties including restroom sanitation, waste disposal, and replenishing supplies as needed. Assist with industrial cleaning tasks, ensuring compliance with safety standards and protocols. Support facilities maintenance by reporting any damages or maintenance needs observed during cleaning activities. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high standards of cleanliness. Maintain equipment and cleaning supplies in good condition, ensuring they are used safely and effectively.

Requirements

Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred; custodial experience is a plus. Must be legally eligible to work in Canada Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and techniques is highly desirable. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Must be physically capable of performing cleaning duties which may include lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
