Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong commitment to cleanliness and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Schedule

Clean 3 sites between North Parksville and Qualicum each weekend, 5.5 hours including travel. You may finish within 4 hours depending on experience.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces in designated areas. Maintain cleanliness in both public and private spaces, ensuring all areas are tidy and well-kept. Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify cleaning needs and report any maintenance issues. Utilize appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment safely and effectively. Follow established protocols for waste disposal and recycling.

Qualifications

Previous experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Ability to work independently. Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately. Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting, bending, or standing for extended periods. A proactive attitude towards maintaining a clean and safe environment.
