Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by performing routine maintenance and repairs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical knowledge, electrical systems, and facilities maintenance, along with excellent customer service skills. Supervising experience is a plus as you may be required to oversee maintenance staff.

Responsibilities

Perform regular inspections and maintenance on equipment and facilities to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues as they arise. Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for troubleshooting and repairs. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Execute welding tasks as needed for repairs or installations. Read and interpret schematics to assist in troubleshooting equipment issues. Provide leadership and guidance to junior maintenance staff when necessary. Deliver exceptional customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff and management.

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in manufacturing environments. Proficient in electrical systems and facilities maintenance practices. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is highly desirable. Experience with welding techniques and equipment. Ability to read and understand schematics effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Strong leadership abilities with prior supervising experience preferred. A commitment to safety standards and practices within the workplace.
