We're looking for a

Firewatch/Weekend Cleanup labourer

to join our innovative lumber mill located near

Vernon, British Columbia

. Our

Lavington Division

is where Tolko's story began over 60 years ago. Today, at Lavington, we safely and sustainably produce 238 million board feet of lumber per year for customers around the world so they can build their homes and their communities.



Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:

Commitment to working safely

.

Strong communication & interpersonal skills

.

Ability to work

on Saturdays and Sundays. Ability to

work independently

with little supervision. Must be

18 years or older

due to employment standards legislation. Previous experience working in an industrial environment is an asset.

Your workday will look something like this:

general clean up

throughout the mill. You will

support

our tradespersons to

ensure hot work

is done

safely.
