Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a temporary Personal Support Worker to assist a female employer who is a Quadriplegic with all activities of daily living.

Location:

Surrey (Near Fleetwood)

Available Shifts during Maternity Leave:

Saturday 10:00am to 6:00pm Saturday 9:00pm to 12:00am Sunday 10:00am to 4:30pm Sunday 4:30pm-11:30pm

Compensation:

$20 per hour

Responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to:

All aspects of personal care such including indwelling catheter care and massage (bad spasms) Assisting the employer with bowel routine such as digital stimulation of bowels Meal preparation Ceiling lift transfers, range of motion exercises and driving wheelchair accessible van

Requirements:

Valid Canadian driver's license (Class 4 or 5)

required

Comfortable working in an environment with dogs

required

Health care Assistant Certificate

preferred
