RAPS is Seeking a Weekend caregiver to assist an individual with MS (E16)

Location: South East Edmonton (Bonnie Doon)

Days/Hours: Alternating weekends

9am-2pm +

_

Occasional evenings 5pm-9pm

: Duties include but are not limited to: mechanical transfers using a ceiling track lift or pivot transfers

personal care such as changing incontinence products and dressing

Range of motion exercises

Medication administration

Simple meal preparation and light housekeeping

Possible outings via DATS transportation

Please note: 1 friendly dog in the home requiring minor care (filling food/water bowls, let dog in/out of house)

Qualifications and Other Requirements: The successful candidate must have a clear criminal record check containing the vulnerable sector, reliable transportation, must have experience with transfers using a ceiling track lift. Must speak clear fluent English. Previous experience in the health care field (minimum 6 months), or a Health Care Aide Certification (equivalencies may be accepted) is considered a strong asset.

Rate of Pay: $19.50/ hour to start
