Job Description
Main Role: Event Floral Assistant
Join our seasonal team of freelancers for a fulfilling and inclusive experience in the wedding/ event industry!
POSITION INCLUDES:
- Flower processing, cleaning and designing in studio and/or events on site.
- On site installations.
- Designing hand-tied bouquets (spiral European method), vase arrangements.
- Loading, unloading, delivery, set-ups and tear downs.
Optional:
- Assist with event logistics and communications.
- Assist with product sourcing; ordering flowers, picking up from suppliers and business partners.
- Experience in social media or photo editing, interest in photography, social media and design.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Sufficient experience, or in process/ completion of degree/ diploma/ certificate from a recognized university/ college/ continued education program.
- Ability/ learn to create arrangements using our brand ethics and aesthetics (foam free, sustainable, hand-tied spiral bouquets, garden style luxury style, wrapping). Garden style, ikebana style.
- Access to computer, wifi, email, phone.
- Punctual, detail-oriented, ability to work in fast-paced environment, ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Able to work on weekdays and weekends.
- G license is a bonus.
PAY
Depends on the level of experience, $20-$28 HOW TO APPLY
