Acadia Broadcasting is a growing media company with radio stations in Atlantic Canada and Northwestern Ontario. In each of our markets, our company focuses on being the community\'s local voice for entertainment, news, and events. Acadia recently launched a new digital marketing division called RoundTable, which expands our capabilities with customers to achieve unlimited marketing opportunities.

We are looking to hire a Website Administrator with an analytical mind and a detailed understanding of hosting and maintaining websites. Do you have meticulous attention to detail, outstanding problem-solving, communication and writing skills? We want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the onboarding of new website builds, communicate with internal and external customers to determine their needs, and collect required assets that support the web designer.
  • Work with the Digital Manager to develop and maintain an internal workflow to streamline the web build process that is efficient and scalable.
  • Research plugins and propose solutions based on client needs and budget.
  • Ensuring the quality of the finished product from a technical and SEO standpoint while ensuring it meets the latest standards in terms of accessibility, responsiveness, cross-browser compatibility and in full compliance with all laws and regulations.
  • Ensuring that the website is protected by enabling the appropriate security measures, while identifying and responding to all website security breaches.
  • Installing and managing required tags and pixels for advertising, analytics, and reporting.
  • Analyze website performance, provide reports, and offer insight on improvements to better position websites for success.
Requirements:
  • A relevant diploma in related field with at least 2 years of work experience as a website administrator.
  • Excellent knowledge of Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Search Console, WordPress and other content management systems, and W3C Web standards.
  • Highly proficient in all relevant coding languages, preprocessors, tools, compilers, and libraries that support WordPress (PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, SCSS, Git, MySQL, XAMPP, etc\xe2\x80\xa6).
  • Great understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Paid Per Click (PPC).
  • Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot website issues in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent content creation, communication and writing skills.
  • Fantastic time management skills with the ability to multi-task.
  • Strong discovery and presentation skills.
  • AWS, Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 knowledge will be considered an asset.
  • Experience with Adobe XD and graphic design skills will be considered an asset.

This position can be remote. All Provinces will be considered; however, Ontario, New Brunswick or Nova Scotia would be preferred.
