Job Description

We are looking for a Web and UX Manager to join our marketing team in our Toronto office. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the website for Xplore - end to end. This includes UI/UX, performance, maintenance, enhancements and SEO. In addition, the Web and UX Manager will lead the strategy and implementation for improvement and evolve the website to support eCommerce. The successful candidate will work with a team of designers, developers, and content creators to ensure that the website meets the company\'s business goals and user needs.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead the design strategy and management of the company\'s website to create a seamless and intuitive user experience.
• Develop and implement website optimization and performance, including paall performance metrics, search engine optimization, and conversion rate optimization.
• Work with a team of designers, developers, and content creators from our agency to ensure that website projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality.
• Work closely with stakeholders across the company, including marketing, product, and IT, to ensure that the website supports business goals and objectives.
• Conduct user research and analysis to gain insights into user behaviour and preferences, and use these insights to inform website design and development decisions.
• Monitor website analytics and track key performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in website design, user experience, and performance optimization.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Bachelor or Technical degree in a related field (e.g. web design, computer science, marketing) or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in website design and development, with a focus on user experience and performance optimization.
• Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and complex projects.
• Deep understanding of web design principles and best practices, as well as user experience and performance optimization techniques.
• Experience with website analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as experience with website development platforms is not required but nice to have.
