The Web Publishing Consultant works as part of the Web Communications team, a small team of designers and content specialists in the Bank\xe2\x80\x99s Communications department. The role and team work closely with development partners to build great products for the web, then iterate \xe2\x80\x94 always asking how to make things better. The team is committed to making websites that are leading-edge, while valuing experimentation and learning. As a Web Publishing Consultant, you excel at working with technology, language and people.In addition, you will:

  • proof, publish and manage information on our external websites, intranet and third-party platforms
  • plan and schedule web-publication activities, triage requests, and assign or escalate tasks where needed
  • apply, and help to evolve, our content patterns
  • help us continuously improve our processes, find and test new tools, and actively participate in team retrospectives and knowledge sharing
What you need to succeed
  • extreme attention to detail
  • demonstrated experience with HTML
  • proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (especially Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Outlook)
  • solid time-management and prioritization skills
  • expertise in working with people at all levels
  • a knack for problem solving, and a desire to keep learning
Assets
  • demonstrated knowledge of tools for content management, web publishing and email marketing
  • experience with quality control for website management
  • basic design, CSS or UX/UI skills
Your education and experience
Undergraduate or College degree with one year of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.What you need to know
  • Language requirement: English and French essential (bilingual) with a minimum starting level of functional (level 4) in second official language. Training may be provided to help reach the required level of fully functional (level 5) in second official language.
  • Priority will be given to Canadian citizens and permanent residents
  • Security level required: Be eligible to obtain Reliability
  • Relocation assistance may be provided, if required

  • Salaries are based on qualifications and experience and typically range from $62,386 to $73,395 (job grade 13)
  • The Bank offers an incentive for successfully meeting expectations at 3 to 5% of your base salary. The Bank offers additional performance pay (2%) for those who exceed expectations. Exceptional performers who far exceed expectations may be eligible for higher performance pay.
