We are currently seeking a Web Developer to join our team in Ottawa, Ontario (CA-ON), Canada (CA).

Once You Are Here, You Will:

• Analyze problems outlined by systems analysts/designers in terms of such factors as style and extent of information to be transferred across internet.
• Correct program errors by revising instructions or altering sequence of operations.
• Design high-usability web pages to meet requirement including graphics and general web-site design.
• Develop and prepare diagrammatic plans for web-based service delivery over internet.
• Select best available web development tools for linking internet-based client to departmental \xe2\x80\x9cback end\xe2\x80\x9d information delivery programs and databases.
• Test instructions, and assemble specifications, flow charts, diagrams, layouts, programming, and operating instructions to document applications for later modification or reference; and
• Verify accuracy and completeness of programs by preparing sample data, and testing by means of system acceptance test runs made by operating personnel.

Required Qualifications:

• Government of Canada Reliability/Secret Security Clearance in process or completed
• 10 + years of experience, or 5+ years of development experience with a recognized professional certification
• 2+ years of experience creating a web page that was put into production
• 2+ experience designing screen formats and creating screen mockups
• 2+ years experience administering previously developed sites and uploading completed designs
• 2+ years experience working with Web hosting provider and establishing login features for secure areas of Websites.
• 2+ years experience implementing solutions that comply with GC policies and standards
• 2+ years experience using Web quality assurance and code validation tools.

• HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, ASP, PHP, .NET, and Web publishing processes, JQuery, JavaScript, HTML, Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Contribute, SQL Server, IIS, Adobe Dreamweaver and Content Management Systems
