This posting is for one (1) Temporary position that may continue until November 6, 2026
The Edmonton Police Service has a temporary eight (8) month position for a Website Content Creator in the Marketing & Digital Media Unit. The successful candidate will thrive in a dynamic, high-energy setting and will oversee the daily management of both the organization's intranet and public websites, including:

  • Scheduling and publishing content.
  • Ensuring content is current and accurate.
  • Writing articles and creating graphics tailored to client needs.
  • Taking photographs using your mobile device and/or a DSLR.
  • Other related duties as required.
Qualifications
  • Graduation from a recognized community college or technical institution with a diploma or a certificate in web applications, web design, web writing or a related program supplemented by a minimum of one (1) year experience with proven web writing and web development skills.
  • A university degree would be considered an asset.
  • A minimum of one (1) year of experience in related field or able to demonstrate the necessary skills for the position.
  • Working knowledge of the Internet, Social Media, and HTML programming.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • The ability to maintain excellent working relationships and deliver a high standard of services.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision and as an integral part of a team.
Hours of Work: 33.75 hours per week. 0800 - 1600 hours Monday - Friday.
Salary Range: 21M, Salary Grade: 014, $33.08 - $41.43 (Hourly), $2,233.00 - $2,797.00 (Bi-Weekly), $58,280.45 - $73,001.63 (Annually).
