Web Content Author (AEM)
Rate: $30-$37/hour
Location: Downtown Toronto (Hybrid - 8 days/month in office)
About the Role
We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Web Content Author (AEM) to join a collaborative digital team supporting a large-scale corporate website and multiple microsites. This role is ideal for someone who takes initiative, learns quickly, and isn't afraid to speak up when they spot an opportunity to improve the site experience.
You'll be part of a team of seven content and digital asset specialists working in a fast-paced environment where content is constantly being updated, published, and optimized.
What You'll Do
Publish and maintain web content across a primary corporate site and 3,000+ templated pages and microsites
Upload and manage a variety of digital assets including PDFs, webcasts, and articles
Build and update landing pages (larger projects typically span several weeks)
Apply SEO best practices through proper tagging, metadata, and structured content entry
Ensure content is accurate, timely, and aligned with brand and compliance standards
Collaborate cross-functionally with teams in design, marketing, advertising, translation, and IT
Identify site issues or content gaps and take initiative to resolve them quickly
What You Bring
Hands-on experience publishing content in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or a similar CMS
Strong attention to detail and comfort working in a high-volume content environment
Excellent communication skills and confidence working with multiple stakeholders
A self-starter mindset - you notice what's wrong, speak up, and take action
Ability to learn compliance and governance processes (financial industry experience not required)
