Due to a recent merger, Caisse Financial Group is now legally operating as Assiniboine Credit Union in English and Caisse Assiniboine in French. This position will be part of C Finance Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Assiniboine Credit Union as we work towards full integration. We're currently looking for people to fill the following position at our Provencher location (Winnipeg).

WEALTH ASSISTANT



( Full-time, approximate 16-month term)

More about the position:



You provide direct support to the investment specialists and financial planners by assisting them with relevant accounting and financial data. You maintain and implement procedures to improve on various financial and business processes. You prepare client investment summaries and agendas. You assist in the management of multiple team projects. You implement and adhere to various compliance regulations such as MFDA. You prepare KYC and other investment applications and RRSP transfer forms. You process and follow up on client trades and transactions, and other changes.

What you bring:



Similar hands-on experience from a Caisse, Credit Union or bank would be considered an asset 3-5 years of experience in a complex work environment, managing sensitive and confidential information with tact and discretion in compliance with all regulations and acts A self-starter who does not shy away from taking the initiative to support the team Organized and adept at prioritizing projects Naturally resourceful and creative when developing solutions for client needs Strong listening and communication skills Good, working knowledge of Microsoft Office Canadian Securities Course OR IIROC / MFDA registered OR Insurance (LLQP) courses complete and able to be registered would be considered an asset or willing to undergo licensing / certification training Proficiency in French is required, both written and verbal (intermediary is fine)
