Wonderbrands: Langley, BC
WAGE: $24.02/hour, $2.00 night shift premiums (if applicable)
SHIFT: Schedule of bakery, availability required (flexibility with working overtime, and on weekends, as necessary)
Responsibilities

• Prepare wrap sheets according to multiplant schedules and trailer departure times.
• Verify machine setup to ensure it meets standard operating conditions and is running correctly.
• Ensure only one type of bag is present at the bagger table and avoid rework.
• Perform quality checks on slicing, internal temperature, and product weight.
• Verify kwick lock dates and inspect bags for holes.
• Change quick lock color when switching from regular to freezer code and notify line shipper to separate colors.
• Accurately record finished product counts on wrap sheets, SKU sheets, and multiplant schedules.
• Enter production data into SAP.
• Complete all required records in ink, legibly, and at the time of observation.
• Ensure records are accurate, permanent, and proprietary to Weston Foods Canada.
• Correct errors by striking through and initialing; avoid whiteout or ditto marks.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and prevent allergen cross-contamination.
• Keep personal items and medications away from workstations.
• Report any suspected contamination or product tampering to the Production Supervisor or QA.
• Adhere to Hold and Release Policy for any food safety or quality issues.
• Ensure all quality parameters and process checks meet established standards.
• Other duties and responsibilities as required.

Requirements

• A lover of bread and baked goods!
• You must be comfortable to lift 50 pounds repetitively.
• You have strong people skills--you're approachable, a good listener, and empathetic.
• You have previously worked in a manufacturing environment (even better if it was food manufacturing!).
• You're dedicated to the health and safety of yourself and your colleagues.
• You digest constructive feedback as an opportunity to listen, and improve your skills, abilities, and performance.
• You are someone who listens to comprehend a situation first, asking questions to clarify your own understanding.
