Come build the future of entertainment and storytelling, and write your next chapter with us!We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Marketing Intern to join our Social Media & Influencer Marketing team within the Marketing department. Reporting to the Social Media Manager, you will play a key role supporting our evergreen content and campaigns across a global community of millions across our social media channels. This is a great opportunity to collaborate with various marketing functions, while contributing to growing our online presence and channel engagement.We\'re looking for a social media aficionado who would love nothing more than talk about stories and their writers all day! Coupled with a love of pop culture, entertainment, and reading and writing, you will help us ensure Wattpad is talked about and loved the world over.What you\'ll be doing:

• Assist in executing social media marketing initiatives across Meta, TikTok, X, and Pinterest using social, marketing and product tools (e.g. Sprinklr, Asana, AppsFlyer, Canva, and native social media platforms)
• Work closely with the Creative team and content creators to brief in creative concepts
• Help coordinate social media content and campaigns using project management tools, including working with stakeholders to ensure they input, review, and approve marketing tactics on time
• Use social listening to monitor and identify opportunities for community engagement to support channel growth and brand awareness
• Work closely with Brand Safety to ensure community concerns and issues raised on social media channels are escalated appropriately
• Stay up-to-day on social trends, tools, best practices and have a point of view on emerging new social channels in order to surface insights and learnings to help optimize content and engagement

What we\'re looking for:

• A highly engaged Wattpadder! Passion for the platform, Wattpad stories, and their creators is a must
• Educational or working experience in marketing/communications
• Strong organizational or project management skills
• You can demonstrate an understanding of social media channels and have a point of view on which brands are doing amazing work in social
• You are comfortable with data and can glean learning and insights from numbers -- you can calculate clickthrough rates, conversion rates and engagement rates with ease
• An eagerness to take initiative and an ability to juggle multiple priorities with ease.
• Ability to work from Toronto HQ occasionally (1-2 times/month) for content creation is preferred, but not required.

$18 - $19 an hourWattpad is conducting all interviews in a distributed manner using applicable third party software where needed and using visual interface tools such as Google Hangouts and Zoom.About WattpadWho are we?
