Black Gold Industries Ltd.

is a family-oriented business and a leader in below-grade waterproofing. We are looking for a reliable, physically fit individual who can balance the demands of on-site labor with the responsibility of operating a 5-ton supply truck.

We are currently

sponsoring foreign workers. You must reside in BC and possess a valid full-time work visa to be considered.

What We Offer

Starting Wage:

$23.00/hour.

Post-Probation:

Increase to

$24.00-27.00/hour

+ Health Benefits (50/50 basis).

Training:

Full on-site shadow training provided for waterproofing systems.

Key Responsibilities

1. Driving & Logistics

5-Ton Truck Operation:

Safely transport materials and equipment from our

Langley shop

to various job sites across the Lower Mainland.

Daily Pre-Trip:

Conduct vehicle inspections (circle checks) and maintain an organized, clean truck.

Navigation:

Ability to maneuver large vehicles safely in tight construction zones and residential cul-de-sacs.

2. Physicality & Field Labor

Waterproofing Installation:

Assist tradesmen with the application of membranes, drainage boards, and protection layers.

Stamina:

Handle 8-10 hour shifts involving heavy lifting (up to 50lbs), bending, and repetitive movements.

Environment:

Work outdoors year-round in all BC weather (rain, heat, and cold). You aren't afraid to get dirty or work in muddy excavation sites.

3. Reliability & Attitude

Early Starts:

Must be at the Langley shop ready to go before

6:30 a.m.

to ensure on-time site arrival.

Communication:

Fluent English is required for safety coordination and following technical instructions.

Safety Mindset:

Strict adherence to PPE (Steel-toe boots, hard hat, vest) and awareness of site hazards like open trenches and heavy machinery.
Requirements

Valid Class 5 Driver's License

(Clean Driver's Abstract required). Experience driving a 5-ton truck (or similar large commercial vehicle) is highly preferred. Reliable transportation to reach our shop in

Langley

daily. Physical fitness and a "team-first" work ethic.
