Responsibilities
- Fill water truck at water source
- Drive truck to drill site and pump water into water tank
- Remove any accumulating ice from water truck
- Ensure water truck is driven in a safe manner
- Report mechanical issues immediately
- Some mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and repair purposes
- Ensure there is always water available for the drill. The number of trips required in any 12 hour shift (day shift and night shift) will depend on distance from water source to project, size of water tank, number of drills in operation
- Daily inspection of water truck
- 1 year experience driving a water truck
- Physically fit: able to lift up to 50 lbs, able to work 12 hour shifts (day shift and night shift)
- Honest and reliable with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn new skills
- Able to work in remote camps for up to 28 days without a day off
- Zero tolerance on drugs and alcohol; must be able to pass random drug and alcohol tests
- Valid Class 3 Driver\'s license and clear abstract to operate any Kluane Drilling Ltd. vehicles
