We are seeking a critical thinker who enjoys plumbing, mechanical and electrical work. Our team is growing and are in need of a hard-working and honest individual that is willing to learn. The ideal candidate will be installing, repairing, and maintaining water treatment systems and well pumps in residential and commercial settings and resolve customer concerns with a solution-focused approach. This role requires an understanding of mechanical systems, knowledge of water treatment systems and well and pump applications along with excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
The technician will handle customer service calls, make honest recommendations for equipment replacement while delivery exceptional customer service.
Duties
Perform basic mechanical and plumbing labour on pumps and water treatment systems
Install, repair and maintain private, community and commercial water treatment systems
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of water systems.
Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks.
Conduct inspections of well systems to identify issues or potential problems.
Assemble and weld pipes as necessary for repairs or installations.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions and concerns professionally.
Skills
Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding schematics related to water systems.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various water issues.
Experience using both hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Ability to assemble components accurately while ensuring quality workmanship.
Familiarity with well pumps and water treatment systems is a plus.
Capable of welding pipes when required for specific installations or repairs.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality results in all tasks performed.
