We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Water Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of water systems and equipment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of both hand and power tools, with a focus on building, restoring, and cleaning water-related systems. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.

Responsibilities

Install and maintain water systems including pipes, pumps, and filtration units. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to build and restore water-related infrastructure. Conduct routine inspections of water systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards. Troubleshoot issues related to water flow, pressure, and quality; implement necessary repairs or replacements. Clean and sanitize equipment as needed to maintain hygiene standards in water systems. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively while adhering to deadlines. Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and any issues encountered during service.

Experience

Proven experience working with hand tools and power tools is essential. Familiarity with plumbing systems or water treatment processes is preferred but not mandatory. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to learn quickly in a hands-on environment. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all tasks performed. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various weather conditions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Calgary, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:

water tech: 1 year (preferred)
