What Your Day Will Look Like:

As a Water Resources Specialist, you will support the delivery of environmental and engineering projects across multiple sectors, contributing to field assessments, desktop analyses, and technical reporting. You will collaborate with project teams to plan and execute studies, support client deliverables, and apply your technical expertise to a diverse portfolio of projects. This role also offers opportunities to grow technical service offerings, support client relationships, and develop professionally through mentorship from experienced senior staff.

Anticipated annual compensation $70,000 - $100,000.
What You'll Do:


:
Support environmental and water resources projects and proposal efforts, including baseline studies, effects assessments, and water management analyses across surface water, hydrogeology, and natural environment disciplines. Plan, coordinate, and execute field and desktop studies such as surface water and groundwater monitoring, hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, and hydrotechnical and hydrogeological modeling. Prepare and lead technical reports, permit applications, regulatory approvals, and other key client deliverables. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, innovative solutions while maintaining strong working relationships and awareness of evolving regulatory and market drivers.

What You'll Need:


:
Undergraduate or Graduate Degree in Water Resources or related field with the opportunity to receive professional credentials in Engineering or Geoscience (P.Eng. or P.Geo.). 0-4 years of progressive consulting or industry-related water resources experience. Experience with hydrology and hydraulic analyses, hydrotechnical and hydrogeological modelling applications, water-related monitoring and field programs, water management planning and design work, environmental assessment and regulatory permitting activities, and environmental statistics and related data analyses. Proficiency with industry standard hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software (e.g., HEC-RAS, SWMM), applied statistics, and data management tools. Valid Ontario driver's licence is required.
