Our client is a civil design and engineering consulting firm specializing in a variety of projects across Western Canada.
Role & Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the Principal and management team, you will undertake the preparation of servicing and stormwater management related studies.
• Plan the process for stormwater management designs and land development projects. Drafting of plans and involvement in the detailed design process.
• Help to prepare master and functional servicing studies for secondary draft plans, and site plans.
• Provide technical leadership and expertise to internal team, and clients.
• Work with clients, municipal and conservational authorities, to assist in the construction process. Ensure projects are running in a timely and efficient matter, in adherence to budgets.
• Assist with managing junior staff as needed.

Qualifications:

• Experience in Civil3D, PCSWMM, Visual OTTHYMO, HEC-RAS is strongly preferred.
• Ideally, a minimum of 4 years experience in servicing and stormwater management in relation to land development engineering.
• Valid registration or ability to register as a Professional Engineer or Civil Engineering Technologist in Alberta
• Must be able to conduct oneself professionally in all areas of communication.
• Ability to lead a multidisciplinary team of professionals to complete the preliminary servicing of SWM studies.
• Lead by example, manage oneself in an environment to help guide, mentor, and manage junior team members.
• Valid license and ability to conduct site visits on a regular or as-needed basis.

Compensation Range: $85,000-120,000 (experience dependent)
