Our Thunder Bay location in Ontario, Canada is currently seeking talent to fill the position of Water Quality Assigned Spare. This job is permanent, full-time.

This is an hourly paid position within our collective agreement and is a shift work position working 12 hour shifts, four days on and four days off. Candidates must be able to legally work and be residing in Canada at the time of applying for this position. The starting rate of pay is $31.58 and moves up as individuals complete training in other positions within the department.

Your Challenges:

• Participate in safety programs and ensure the application of our safety standards,
• You have a commitment to work in a safe productive manner to maximize quality and production,
• Collaborate with production and maintenance personnel,
• You will apply your organizational skills to maximize uptime, quality and production,
• Communicate updates to supervisor to maintain goals,

Your team:

• Reporting to crew leader and department superintendent, you will be part of a results-oriented team whose members are encouraged to exceed expectations.

Your profile:

• Candidates must have graduated from college or university with a sciences diploma or degree.
• Previous experience in related an industrial environment would be an asset.

Your assets and skills

• Possess a strong safety focus and exceptional safety record,
• Excellent communication (verbal & written), organizational, and interpersonal skills,
• Ability to work independently and within a diverse team environment,
• Support continuous improvement and contribute to cost savings initiatives,
• MS Office and the ability to learn other computer applications.
