Job Summary

Western Excavation is seeking a skilled and dedicated water and sewer supervisor for an immediate start. Candidate must have supervisory experience. Supervisor to oversee daily activities and ensure quality and productivity. Candidate must be self sufficient and have knowledge of standard materials. Ability to read blueprints, identify conflicts and collaborate with management for resolution.

Responsibilities

Ensure all deliveries are checked and confirmed for accuracy and quality Ensure that all required materials from the work are on site, checking daily for upcoming scopes Ensure daily, weekly and monthly paperwork is completed (Sitedocs) Ensure to conduct daily toolbox meeting Ensure that all materials being installed are to specific municipalities standards Provide training to both experienced and new workers Ensure that all installs are completed to design grade As-built all installations Coordinate CCTV with 3rd party suppliers Ensure tools and trailer are organized through delegation

Experience

Proven supervisor experience in water and sewer Ability to utilize survey stakes, benchmarks to establish grades Hands-on experience with installation and maintenance activities Commercial and on street installation will be prioritized
This position offers an opportunity for year round work and growth to a superintendent role once replacements are trained

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week
