Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pipefitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of plumbing systems with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role requires a hands-on approach to fabricating, building, and maintaining piping systems in various settings. The Pipefitter will play a crucial role in ensuring that all installations are completed efficiently and meet industry standards.

Duties

Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of piping systems. Rig and position pipes using appropriate tools and equipment. Maintain existing piping systems by performing repairs and replacements as needed. Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards. Conduct routine inspections of piping systems to identify potential issues. Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects on time.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Pipefitter or in a similar role within the construction or manufacturing industry. Strong skills in blueprint reading and schematic interpretation. Proficiency in welding techniques relevant to pipefitting tasks. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to pipe installation. Ability to rig pipes safely and effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $28.49-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
