Job Description

Blue-Con Excavating Ltd. is seeking an experienced Water and Sewer Pipelayer to join our Deep Utilities team. We install top quality Water, Sewer and Storm pipe in new subdivisions, multi-family sites, and the odd commercial and inner-city jobs to keep things exciting.

Pipelayer

- Previous deep utilities industry experience in this position is a must
- Understanding of City of Calgary Water and Sewer Specifications
- Must be a team player
- Clear and effective verbal and written communication
- Reliable, dependable, energetic and enthusiastic

Individuals in these positions will contribute to a positive and safe working environment while helping maximize productivity. We have highly mobile teams; reliable transportation is an absolute requirement.

Responsibilities:

- Is an integral part of a crew that is passionate to ensure all work is executed as per the design specifications
- Participates in tool box meetings, job hazard assessments, and follows all safety procedures
- Adapts and applies experience to new situations and challenges
- Depending on role, uses tools/equipment to handle and install materials within the job-site.
