Washrack Technician/Tank Cleaner
We are looking for a Washrack Technician for our shop in Edmonton, AB. This is a great entry-level opportunity for someone who has shop experience and a passion for safety.

Pay

  • $25.74 per hour
  • Shift premium of $1.50
Shift/Schedule/Hours
  • Sunday to Thursday 3:00 pm- 11:30 pm
Responsibilities
  • Exterior washing and assisting with internal cleaning.
  • Hose testing/cleaning.
  • Pump flush.
  • Drive equipment.
  • Tank entry and confined space training
  • Operation of hand tools.
  • Wash work orders.
  • Tank steam for cleaning.
  • Steam product for repair.
  • Assist in wash order scheduling.
  • Boiler operation and maintenance of pumps, blowers, etc.
  • Identify wash orders to be completed and know your limitations.
  • Comfortable working either indoors or outdoors (Appropriate gear is provided).
Skills
  • Positive and strong work ethic.
  • Must be ok working from heights over 20 ft.
  • Positive attitude and job performance.
  • Shop experience, including working around steam equipment.
  • Must be capable of working in wet and humid conditions and exposure to normal wash rack cleaning materials.
  • Basic understanding of shop safety, shop work practices, mechanical systems, and use of hand and power tools.
Educational Requirements
  • Valid Driver\'s License.
  • Grade 12 or equivalent.
