Job Description

Key Responsibilities



Warranty Claims Processing:


Submit, track, and follow up on warranty claims to manufacturers or third-party warranty companies.

Documentation Review:


Review repair orders to ensure all required documentation, parts, and labor operations are properly recorded for claim submission.

Compliance Checking:


Ensure that repairs fall within manufacturer or extended warranty guidelines and policies.

Coordination with Technicians and Service Advisors:


Communicate with service personnel to clarify repairs and ensure accurate documentation.

Record Keeping:


Maintain organized records of all warranty transactions, denials, and payments for audit purposes.

Payment Reconciliation:


Reconcile warranty credits and payments with dealership accounting departments.

Training & Updates:


Stay current with manufacturer bulletins, updates, and changes in warranty procedures.
Assist cash office and service tower duties in busy periods and cover breaks and holidays

Skills Required



Strong

attention to detail

Good understanding of

automotive repair procedures

Familiarity with

DMS software

(like CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds) Knowledge of

OEM warranty guidelines

(Ford, GM, Toyota, etc.) Strong

communication and organizational

skills * Ability to handle

multi-tasking and deadlines
