Position Summary:
As Warranty Administrator, you will be under the direction of the Service Manager and responsible for all aspects of warranty administration, including claim submission, the reconciliation of accounts, and maximizing claim returns at Audi of Mississauga. You will address concerns and serve as a liaison between Service Advisors, Audi, manufacturers, and parts suppliers. Your responsibilities include data entry, account management, collecting and presenting information for auditing purposes, and submitting requests for information to manufacturers and suppliers.

Duties:
Address all customer issues with Advisors.
Refer customer issues to Service Manager when necessary.
Escalate warranty claims that require manufacturer authorization.
Forward warranty claims for defective parts to the manufacturer.
Follow-up and resubmit unpaid claims returned by the manufacturer.
Interpret failure reports and compose claim reports for submission to the manufacturer's warranty processing centre.
File and retain warranty service records by the manufacturer.
Complete claim forms, code failures, and list out materials as required by different manufacturers.
Submit leasing and rental warranty claims by inputting accurate and complete information using the manufacturer's systems and processes.
Close work orders by applying charges to manufacturers or customers.
Write warranty claims and goodwill policy requests according to manufacturer's guidelines.
Respond to requests for additional information from manufacturers in a timely manner.
Analyze rejected claims and make recommendations to pursue treatment.
Communicate warranty repair processes to workshop coordinators, supervisors, and technicians.
Keep warranty schedules up to date.
Compile and track performance indicators related to warranty usage and claims.
Maintain records for auditing purposes.
Oversee the proper handling of warranty parts to be returned or discarded.
Other duties as required.
Requirements:
High school diploma or post-secondary education.
Trade certificate in a related field is preferred.
2-5 years of work experience in the automotive industry or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Audi and Volkswagen experience an asset.
Familiarity with automotive terminology.
Computer literate. Proficient with Reynolds, Microsoft Word and Excel.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Well-developed organization and planning skills.
Good negotiating skills.
Proven ability to work in a team.
Customer service orientation.
Numbers oriented, with good attention to detail.
