We are currently looking for a

Warehouse/Parts Representative

to join our professional team of aftermarket parts people in our Mount Pearl branch. This role includes sales development responsibilities with our end user account groups within the province of Newfoundland & Labrador.

Responsibilities

Responsible for maintaining warehouse organization and cleanliness to ensure a safe and efficient work environment Load/unload shipments using forklift and pallet jack; must be able to lift items up to 50 pounds Liaise with truck drivers, delivery personnel, and couriers for incoming and outgoing shipments Contributes to growing the aftermarket parts business for equipment represented by Sansom Equipment as part of a collaborative team effort. Responds to phone and email inquiries as part of a collaborative parts team -- timely follow-up on part requests is essential due to the urgent nature of the business. Supports the team in updating business software applications, including creating purchase orders, inventory receipts, packing slips, and processing inventory fulfillment. Inventory tracking and periodic physical counting of inventory to meet operational needs Working in a collaborative manner with our clients to provide innovative solutions to their aftermarket parts needs Customer service responsibilities with the ability to provide excellent customer service to external as well as internal customers Some after hour work may be required to respond to emergency breakdowns

Qualifications

Experience in parts or inventory control considered an asset Understanding of mechanical equipment and a strong willingness to learn the products that we represent considered an asset Excellent customer service skills Strong computer skillset with Microsoft programs (such as Outlook, Excel, Word) Neat, clean, and tidy personal appearance and the ability to apply the same to a workstation / department Highly self-motivated with a focus on aftermarket parts sales growth and a commitment to continuous improvement in warehouse operations and efficiency Capable of working independently daily in a structured, professional manner and environment Able to travel to the US for training periodically (when safe to travel) Forklift certification is considered an asset. Hold a valid driver's license. In possession of a strong work ethic and the willingness to see a process through to the end
