This is a Job opportunity to join the warehouse/shop team at Russel Metals. With this position, in addition to your hourly wage, you will receive

Roles and Responsibilities:

Running overhead crane and forklift.

Picking and packaging material according to customer specifications.

Operation of saw equipment and various other machinery types.

Ability to use hand scanners and it's related functions to perform Operational tasks.

Loading and unloading trucks.

Conducting daily pre-shift inspection.

Ensuring quality customer service.

Ability to perform some heavy lifting.

Willing to work shifts and outdoors.

Education and Skills Required:

Grade 12 or equivalent.

Good knowledge of basic math calculations and measurements.

Good communication skills

Self motivated, results oriented.

Previous experience in a steel distribution plan would be an asset.

Class 1A license would be an asset.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $23.85 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
