A.S. LADDI FODDS CORPORATION is seeking a dedicated and skilled Warehouse/Driver to join our team. This role involves a combination of warehouse operations and driving responsibilities, ensuring efficient handling of goods from receipt to delivery. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse distribution, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to operate various types of equipment.
Responsibilities
Safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, and cranes for loading and unloading materials.
Manage shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring accurate order fulfillment and inventory control.
Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking inventory levels and processing orders.
Perform heavy lifting and order picking as required, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Assist in packaging products for shipment to ensure they are secure and compliant with shipping standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment within the warehouse.
Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency.
Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues.
Requirements
Previous warehouse experience is preferred, with a strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes.
Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, and cranes is essential.
Mechanical knowledge is a plus for troubleshooting equipment issues as they arise.
Familiarity with order fulfillment processes, including order picking, packaging, and shipping & receiving tasks.
Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the shift.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining safety standards in all operations.
