Job Overview

One of our clients, a reputed construction project management company is seeking skilled Warehouse Worker & Forklift Operator to join their dynamic warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating forklifts and other heavy equipment to facilitate the efficient movement of materials within the warehouse. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving processes, as well as compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and clamp trucks to load and unload materials from delivery vehicles. Perform order picking and packing duties using RF scanners to ensure accurate inventory management. Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance. Assist in shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring timely processing of incoming and outgoing shipments. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to maintain organization and efficiency in the warehouse environment. Handle heavy lifting and materials handling tasks as required, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety guidelines related to heavy equipment operation.

Requirements

Proven experience in warehouse distribution or similar roles, with a strong understanding of warehouse management systems. Familiarity with various equipment including forklifts, cranes, order pickers, and pallet jacks is essential. Previous experience in shipping & receiving operations is preferred. Knowledge of regulations related to warehouse safety is required. Mechanical knowledge is a plus for troubleshooting equipment issues effectively. Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks (up to 50 lbs) consistently throughout the shift. Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy in order picking and inventory management. Prior experience as a warehouse supervisor or in heavy equipment operation is advantageous but not mandatory.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week
