Job Description
Responsible for a variety of tasks in the warehouse. Under direction of the purchasing manager, will assist in regulating inventory using an ERP system, ship/receive/restock/return material, and maintain the shop.
Responsibilities
ship/receive materials enter returns pull/restock inventory pick-up, delivery and packaging of material co-ordinate maintenance & service of company vehicles, equipment and tools fabrication of small mechanical assemblies participate in safety program / complete inspections as required Maintain a safe clean shop/warehouse/yard Manual lifting required: 75lbs
Skills
Effective communication skills Ability to prioritize, organize and problem solve Basic knowledge of computers Ability to thrive in an active environment and perform under tight deadlines Positive attitude and the desire to continuously improve Willing and able to accept direction and work independently Ability to lift/push/pull up to 75lbs several times through a day
Education/Experience
Warehouse or construction experience Forklift (PME) certification is considered an asset Grade 12 or GED Valid Driver License Trailer hitching, hauling and loading/unloading Plumbing experience is an asset
Wage
Wage will be based on experience
