Job Description
Our client, a Canadian global leader in exploration, mine engineering, and environmental protection has an immediate need for a Warehouse Worker to lead multi-discipline projects within the mining industry. This is a contract position for six (6) months, located in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
Description
The Transit Warehouse role requires following established work procedures to receive and process freight for mining operations.
Role Accountabilities:
- Material handling
- Processing freight/PO\'s using SAP system
- Unloading, sorting, and loading general freight
- Compliance with TDG regulations for handling materials
- Matching goods to POs and data entry into SAP
- Prepare and complete documents, as required
- Complete inspections and report non-conformances
- Grade 12 or equivalent education
- 1-3 years industrial experience
- Experience processing POs and data entry into SAP
- Proficient computer skills
- Forklift Operator certification
- Experience with Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) - Handling and Offer for Transport Class 1-9
