Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by managing inventory, handling materials, and supporting shipping and receiving processes. This position requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to safety standards.

Responsibilities

Operate various warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load and unload goods. Manage inventory control processes, ensuring accurate tracking of stock levels using RF scanners and warehouse management systems. Assist in shipping and receiving operations, including packaging and labeling products for distribution. Perform heavy lifting and materials handling tasks as required, adhering to OSHA safety regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse space to facilitate efficient operations. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to fulfill orders accurately and on time. Participate in regular inventory audits and assist with stocking shelves as necessary. Utilize mechanical knowledge for basic maintenance of warehouse equipment.

Skills

Proficiency in inventory management and control techniques. Experienced and certified in operating forklifts, and reach trucks. Familiarity with warehouse distribution processes and order fulfillment strategies. Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) like AS400. Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred, including roles in manufacturing or construction settings. Ability to perform tasks that require heavy lifting and physical stamina. Knowledge of packaging standards and procedures for safe product handling. Effective communication skills for working collaboratively within a team setting.
