Overview

We are seeking dedicated and skilled Warehouse Workers to join our dynamic team at Pitt Meadows, BC. In this role, you will be integral to our warehouse operations, ensuring efficient handling of goods and contributing to a smooth workflow. Ideal candidates will have experience in warehouse distribution and a strong understanding of various equipment used in the industry.

Duties

Perform shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring accurate documentation and inventory management. Receive and put away full bulk ISO containers on chassis and full trailer package loads Fill bulk cubes from the bulk ISO container Sample and load bulk tanker trucks Pump off retains as required Flush tankers Load the hybrid unit daily for city deliveries and sample each IBC Unload hybrid products daily as required Inventory counts and stock rotation Ensure material locations are kept up to date and accurate Safe and skilled operation of material handling equipment, including electric power jack, sit-down forklifts Daily, weekly, and monthly inspections of the facility and equipment Housekeeping and general warehouse duties, and clean up and organizing Performing other duties and additional responsibilities as required/and or assigned, including vacation or illness relief

Qualifications

Previous warehouse experience required -3 - 5 years preferred Previous forklift and reach truck experience required - licenced Can work independently Strong organizational and prioritization skills A motivated self-starter who can contribute to an effective operation Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs Candidate with handyman skills is preferred Computer skills required in role of back-up personnel (Excel, word, SAP training will be provided) Strong math skills and solid numerical understanding TDG and WHMIS training Excellent communication skills, written and oral - English

Requirements:

CSA approved work boots, reflective vest, and safety glasses with side shields are required to work in the warehouse References necessary Drug and alcohol testing Criminal background check Forklift Licence
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $27.00-$31.00 per hour
