We are accountable for food collection, storage and distribution, fundraising, and advocacy for the people we serve and the agencies we support.
WHAT YOU WILL DO?
Reporting to the Director of Warehouse Operation, you will:
Be responsible for the movement, storage and maintenance of products and the overall day-to-day operation of the warehouse of the FDA including the outside delivery and pickup of products providing superior service to all internal and external customers.
Pick orders, record the information into inventory system, print distribution receipts, print BOL and file the paperwork.
Reviews BOLs when coming back for the notes if need to record them.
Assist in coordination and completion of all regular physical inventory counts.
Maintains files to assure proper inventory levels to support distribution requirements.
Responsible to ensure that all food products are stored in a safe manner, any outdated and damage food is immediately identified and handled in an appropriate manner.
Assists in maintaining daily records of food received and distributed.
Responds, in a timely fashion, to request for information or reports made by the Warehouse Supervisor.
Assists with Daily Freezer and Cooler monitoring and recording temperatures and fan functions.
Any other assigned tasks that may be required or requested by the warehouse supervisor or their designate, including filling in occasionally for the warehouse supervisor's duties due to absence, illness or vacation.
WHAT ARE YOUR QUALIFICATIONS & ATTRIBUTES?
Self-driven and motivated to effectively work with limited supervision.
Must be physically capable of performing warehouse work in a safe and efficient manner.
Strong organizational and decision-making ability.
Must be willing to demonstrate teamwork by functioning in a team-oriented environment
Basic knowledge and experience in working with computers
Hold a valid driver's license.
THE DETAILS
Working Hours:
Salary based on a 40-hour work week working 7am to 3pm unless otherwise determined by the Director of Warehouse Operations.
Location:
This role is based in Moncton, New Brunswick.
Compensation:
