How Will You Make an Impact?:
As a Material Handler II, you will complete internal and external customer requests. Position will be in one of the functional areas of the warehouse including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping.
A Day in the Life:

• Receiving, examining, sorting, arranging, counting, storing, picking, and packing items for storage or ship in accordance with established SOP procedures and customer requirements.
• Uses powered industrial truck to various locations throughout the facility to locate materials and fulfill orders.
• Prepares accurate documentation requirements for packing and shipping of hazardous chemicals.
• Verifies accurate storage conditions of products and notifies Supervisor of any inventory issues that may arise such as Can't Find, Expired Product, Breakage, and Out-Of-Stocks.
• Schedule order pick-ups and complete shipping through our local WMS system
• Other duties as assigned

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:

• Required: Minimum of 1 year of work experience in distribution, warehouse or supply chain or related field
• Preferred: Experience with powered industrial trucks (order pickers)

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

• Self-motivated, quality-conscious individual
• Ability to remain detail oriented in fast paced environment
• Active teammate with strong work ethic

Physical Requirements / Work Environment
Regularly required to stand
Lift, carry, pull, and push between 40-70 pounds frequently and 100 pounds occasionally, with or without assistance
Specific PPE required; including gloves, safety glasses steel-toed shoes, etc.
