Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse operations and distribution, with experience in heavy equipment operation and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. This role involves various tasks related to shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, and inventory management.

Duties

Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, and cranes to load and unload materials safely. Perform order picking and packaging tasks to prepare products for shipment. Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking inventory levels and managing orders efficiently. Conduct shipping and receiving activities, ensuring all incoming and outgoing shipments are accurate and properly documented. Engage in heavy lifting and manual handling of products as required, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Assist with inventory management by conducting regular stock checks and reporting discrepancies. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and maintain a clean, organized work area. Support manufacturing processes by providing materials as needed.

Requirements

Previous warehouse experience is preferred, with a strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes. Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, and cranes is highly desirable. Mechanical knowledge is an asset for troubleshooting equipment issues as they arise. Familiarity with order picking, packaging, shipping & receiving practices is essential. Experience with AS400 or similar warehouse management systems is beneficial. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the shift. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively. Pay: $16.00-$22.00 per hour
